What is it? Faith is defined as: &#8220;\u2013noun <br \/>1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another&#8217;s ability. <br \/>2. belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact. <br \/>3. belief in god or in the doctrines or teachings of religion: the firm faith of the Pilgrims.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So faith is believing &#8220;even when your heart tells you not to&#8221;. (Natalie Wood, Miracle on 34th street).<\/p>\n<p>Faith is a tough walk for everyone. I think even theologians lose faith from time to time. So how do we continue to walk in the light of faith?<\/p>\n<p>I guess for me, it is surrounding myself with people who will pray with me and for me. I also find myself praying a lot. I don&#8217;t understand all the answers that I am given, in fact I don&#8217;t even know if or when a prayer is answered. I can only try to keep moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremiah 29:11 &#8220;For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, They are plans for the good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.&#8221; New Living Translation<\/p>\n<p>This passage is just one of many, I try to follow in my walk of faith. I am hopeful that I am not wrong and someday I will know the answers to all my questions. <\/p>\n<p>In closing I am asking you pray for my family as we investigate new paths and journey and pray that we choose the right way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faith.
